Hotel Veritas

Challenge: Bookings have decreased due to Covid-19 at Hotel Veritas in Cambridge, MA. The challenge is to attract local customers for a weekend away from home.

Insight: After almost a year of lockdown, people are looking to spend time anywhere but home.

Campaign: Escape from the Ordinary

This print ad for Hotel Veritas was created in December 2020 when people were truly tired of being confined to their homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As hotels tried to develop new ideas and plan to cope with decreased bookings, a trend we now know as “staycation” (i.e., not only in one’s owned home but a rented facility) emerged. The goal is to leverage this concept and attract local customers for an intimate “staycation” at Hotel Veritas, where customers can be worry-free regarding the pandemic in their individual spaces.
